The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report on the Ram Fair, held on the Show grounds on Thursday and yesterday, as follows:—On Thursday we sold the following lined on account of various vendors: Shropshire studs, on account of, Basil Seth Smith, rams at 20gns, ewes at 4gns to 25gns and lOgns, flock ewes 2gns. Southdowns, on account' J. Stuckey, 4gns to sgns; other vendors from 3%gns. Border on account W. Pearce, from 3gns. jjincolns, on account R. Bremer, 3%gns Jjoß%gris; Perry Bros, from si-2gns; J. Macara, to sgns; E.J. Riddiford, to 2gns. Yesterday—Stud Romneys, on' account Be'aley Bros., 25gns to 30gns; W. B. Allen, from sgns. Flock Romneys, on account E. J. Riddiford, s#gns; W. B. Allen, sgns; J. Oates, 3%gns to 4gns. Aged rams of various breeds and of all ages ranged from %gn to Almost a total clearance was effected by private treaty of all passed line's.

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the sale of rams comprising their catalogue at the Masterton Kara Fair as follows: Lincolns—ln this class we submitted some first-class rams from the principal breedore in the Nortn Island. In studs Mr Wm. Perry sold atl2gns to 60gus, the latter being top price of ihe Fair; Mr George Elliott 7gns, Mr R. B. Hamilton Bgis to 12(jns. Flecks—William Perry, sgus W. Rayuor, McGregor Bros., to L. G. Bremer, 4gns to 7%gns; George Elliott. 4cns to Sens; E. J. Riddiford. to 4gus; James Macara, 2gns to 4gus; E. Bremer, 4gna to 8«ns; Stuckey Bros. 2gns to 3gns Romnoys—A very large number of these wore submitted. Our principal sales were a3 follow:—Studs. W. Eaynor soJd up to 30gns; 11. Willis tfptol3gus. Buiok, a n-jw Masterton breeder, easily topped the market for flock Komneys, at prices from sgus to 10>.<gns. The number of blackface snoop was large, and prices ruled comparatively low. We sold in Southdowns: Studs, On account of S. R. Lancaster, 7gns to lOgno. Flocks: On account of S. R. Lancaster, 4gns to 5% rub; on account of Williams Bros., 2gns to 4gns; on account of James Stuckey sgns to Shropshire?: On account of H. Willis. 2gnsto4gns; on account of J. 11. Harris, to 3>v.gns. UPPER HUTT SALE,

Messrs Dalgety and Co report, having held a clearing sale at their Upper Hutt yards, on Wednesday, on behalf of Mr 0. H. Cottle, the

total yarding being about 1,000 sheep and 250 bead of cattle. * large number of buyers were in attend anoe, and almost the whole yarding vias tlisnosed of. The highest price realised for sheep" was for a moo line ot breeding ewes, which realised lfs id.
