MELBOURNE v. WELLINGTON.

Wellington showed verypoor batting against the Melbourne team, to-day, only scoring 124, of whinb the last wicket put on 30. Hutohings 24, J. Blaoßloct 22, lliokson and Redgrave 15 each, Monaghan 16, and Upham 11, ware the double figure scorers. McLeod took five wickets for 64 runs, and Armstrong 5 for 48, the latter securing three legs before wicket. The visitors have lost one wicket for 40 (Mailer 29 not out). The cricket all day was very uninteresting. There was a small attendance, and almost a gale was blowing. McLeod bowled against it unchanged for two and a-half hours.
