COSSACKS* IN REVOLT.
EXECUTION OF MANY SUSPECTS.
Received February 23, 8.42 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, February 22. Cossaaks of the Urunsky Regiment, objecting to performing police duty, have entrenched themselves near Roatoff. Troops have been sent to capture them. Prinoe Orion?, who was sent to the Baltic provinces to subdue the revolt, exeouted two hundred and fifty-nine suspected persons. He reoommends the retention of a strong force in the provinces. Mohammedans in the government of Samara, in the Lower Volga district, have petitioned the Czar for representation in the Duma.
A POLISH AGITATOR.
Recejved February 23, 10.26 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, February 23. A Polisn agitator killed a policeman and wounded two soldiers mortally and another slightly before he was shot by the police iu Market Place at Putulsk.
