At a musical comedy in London (remarks a San Franoiaoo paper), from his seat in the alalia, Clyde Fitch, the well-known- American dramatist, noticed a young man in one of the boxes laughing uproariously. Hia companion wae a critic, :and Mr Pitob said to him: "I think be ought to have better taste than to laugh so loud." "Oh." said the critic, "he ia the author, but he never heard these jokes before. They were put in by the comedian.".
