MONT PELEE.
AGAIN IN ACTIVE ERUPTION. Received February 20, 8.30 a.m. NEW YORK, February 19. Mont Pelee, in Martinique, is again in active eruption. An earth quake in the island of St, Lucia damaged every building in Port Castries. (The town of at. Pierre and the surrounding district was totally destroyed in May, 1902, by an eruption of Mfr. Pelee. . About 40,000 lives were lost.)
