ATTACK ON A BANK. THIRTY SHOTS FIRED. Received Fonruary 15, 7.30 a.m. Si. PETERSBURG, February 14. Six masked revolutionaries entered a Savings Bank, iu St. Petersburg, and fired thirty shots, domaadiug cash. They killed a policeman, and wounded throe depositors. The cashier felled one of tho revolutionaries, who was arresfcod. The rest ilod. Soldiers at Tifliß, the capital of tho Caucasus, arrested and searched the Turkish Consul-General. DURNOVO'S SECRET DESPATCH. Received February 15, 8.25 a.m. BERLIN, February 14. The journal Vorwarts publishes tho secret despatch of M. Duruovo, the Minister of the Interior, iustructinc the Governors of the provinces to exterminate and not ar rest rioters, and burn their houses, it is imperative, declares tho despatch, to oppose the monstrous depotism of the. revolutionaries by the strongest remedies, or the Empire would be ruined. LAND FOR PEASANTS. Received February 15, 8.35 a.m. . LONDON, February 14. The St. Petersburg correspondent of The' Times Bt&tes that it io intended to purohaae eight mililou acres of private lands for allotment among tho peasants, paying the owners iu bonds yielding five per cent.
