CANTERBURY RUGBY UNION. By Telegraph—Press Association. OHRISTCHURCH, February 13. At a meeting of the Committee of the TOanterbury Ruarby Union, held to-night, tbe matter of tbe suspension of the Union by tbe New Zealand Rugby Union for non-payment of a disputed amount of ££ 6s was discussed. The Committee resolved to decline to pay the amount, and that the Canterbury representatives in the New Zealand team should be notified on their arrival at Auckland that a 1? the Canterbury Union was suspended they bad become disqualified players. It was also resolved to bring the matter before the English Rugby Union.
