AUCKLAND v. MELBOURNE. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 9. The Melbourne teauijCommenced a match with the Auckland representative eleven this afteriioon. The match commenced at 2.45 o'clock, and stumps were drawn at a quarter to five owing to rain. Auckland batted first and made 106 for six wickets. Hernus and Sale batted well.
