TilE NEW ZEALAND TEAM. DAILYIM AIL'S CRITICISM. "MOST TRIUMPHANT TOUR ON RECORD." (By Telegraph—Press Association. Received February 7, 8.50 p.m. SYDNEY, February 7.
The Daily Mail says that the New Zealanders concluded the mbst triumphant tour on record with the Swansea match. The All Blacks began to attack, but Owens, with a magnificent kick to over half-way, relieved, and the Swansea forwards took up the attack. The ball coming from a loose rush, Scrimes picked up fifteen yards from the line, and after a grand effort got ovcir between Wallace and McGregor with really an excellent try, but the kick at goal went wide. The visitors bad an excellent chance to equalise through Thompson, bat be failed to take the ball in a most unaccountable manner. The Swansea forwards were doing splendid work, aided by their backs, who kicked really well against a strong wind, but only to find Wallace sending them back with his splendid kicks into touch. From a flying kick Wallace obtained a mark, about forty yards from the goal, and ooolly dropped a grand goal with his left foot. This clever movement was deservedly applauded. There were two "star" artists in the match—Wallace for the winners, and Scrimes for the losers. Wallace was a treat to watob. His fielding and touoh kicking were perfect, while the dropped goal was worth going miles to see. The New Zealanders had a triumphant journey to London. Cheering crowds assembled at nearly every station, while at Paddington there was a spontaneous welcome. All the Rorters and others on duty ranged up on the platform and greeted them with cheer on oheer. '
