Received February 4, 5 p.m. PARIS, February"'ST""' Count Rouchfoucuuld has oeen sentenced to three months' imprisonment for as9aultiug the Government officials iu tho Church of Saint Eclothiido. A force of firemen and Guards stormed the aristocratic Church of Saint Pierre du Gros Cuillou, near the Eiffel Tower, and flooded the building, while 800 demonstrators wero inside. Eighteen arrests were made. (A cable published iu Saturday's issue stated that at a riot iu the fashionable Church of Saint Eclothilde, the demonstrators inside included the Due do Chartres. Faction fiighvs occurred outside, and an official was flung down the steps, whereupon M. Lepine, Prefect of the Police, brought a company of Republican Guards on the scene. The troops broke in by using the butts of their rifles. The demonstrators, who used sticks, were driven into a corner, where they sang a hymn. Several women were trampled upon, and every window was smashed. The floor was littered with missiles. The inventory was then taken, and 150 arrests were made.
