NEW ZEALAND COMPETITION. BENHEIM, January 28. The total for the thirty-ninth week of the New Zealand Egg-layiujj Competition is 1,598, making a good grand aggregate of 71,087, and a weekly average per pea of 15.89. The highest layings for the week are: —-Miss Marjorie MoCallum's White Leghorns, Blenheim, 31; Ashworth's Silver Wyandottes, 29; HickmWa Brown Leghorns, Balcairn, 28; Steel's White Leghorns, Picton. 28; Naumann's Silver Wyandottes, ' Napier, 28. The order of turrit in the grand aggregate ia as follows : Legei, Levin, 1,116; Brooks, South Australia, 1,017; Marlborough, A. and P. Association, 996,; Miok Shaw, Blenheim, 974; Jobnathan Hodson, Blenheim, 971. All these hans are White Leghorns.
