NEW ZEALAND COMPETETIQN. BLENHEIM, January 20. Thet otal fdr the 38-th week of the New Zealand Egg-laying Competition is 1480, making ft grand total of 69,498, and a weekly average per pen of 14.80. The highest laving for the week are:—- Washington's Silver Wyandottes (Auckland), 30; Newport's Silver Wyandottes (Nel son), 28; Priddle's White Leghorns (Blenheim), 26; T. Wesf's White Wyandottes, 26. The order uf merit now runs:—H. Leger (Levin), 1089; J. Brooks (South Australia). 995; Marlborough A. and P. Association, 972; Mick Shaw (Blenheim), 958; Jonathan Hodson (Blenheim), 945 All these pens are White Leghorns.
