TRUST LANDS TRUST.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees wau held in the Trust Office, last evening, there being present-—Messrs C. E. Darnell (chair), T. Wagg, and T. B. Miohell. Apologies for aosence were reoeived from Messrs J. A. Renall, J. Hessey aud E. Feist. The Treasurer reported as follows: —Dr. balance, as per bank book, £544 lis sd; or. balance at deposit in bank, £798 03 sd. The School Committee wrote with regard to a vacant cottage for the School Custodian's residence. The Secretary stated that he had notified the School Committee that he would notify them when there was a vacant cottage available. The Masterton Municipal Band applied for the grant in aid of the funds of \the Municipal Baud. It was decided to make the Band a a grant of £5. Tbe Boroucrh Council made a further application for a grant towards the Park. The letter was reoeived. Accounts amounting to £55 9s 2d, including school grants, were passed for payment. It was resolved to send a letter of condolence to Mr J. A. Renall (a member of the Trust) and Mrs Renall and family in connection with their recent bereavement.
