THE MOSCOW CASUALT[ES. SLAUGHTER AT KAZAN. ■A GOVERNOR WOUNDED. 'STATIONMASTER HANGED. Received January 4, 10.3 p.m. SI. PETERSBURG, Jan. 4. The Moscow hospitals contain two thousand wounded, and there are many others in private institutions. Engineers state that the strike caused in Moscow losses to the extent of five millions sterling. Corpses are scattered about the Kazan railway station Three hundred people were shot, as the soldiers •iked on anyone. The ofßcerß hastily arranged a ■court-martial and ordered iD two minutes the execution of a hundred strikers. Three bullets severely wounded the Governor of Ufa. His assailant has been arrested. The strike at Warsaw has collapsed. No news has reached St. Petersburg from the Caucasus for a fortnight. General Orloff hanged a stationmaster for not providing a special train. "RED SUNDAY" ANNIVERSARY. Received January 4, 8.36 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG; Jan. 3. The Council of Workmen's Dele:agtes decrees a political strike on the 552 nd and 23rd inst., as a mark of national mourning for Bloody Sunday of last year. All shops, factories, and theatres have 'been ordered to close.
