SILVERSTREAM SCHOOL'S APPEAL.
The Silverstream School held a successful Paddy's Market in aid. of the School Picnic Fund, there being: a large number of people present. It is anticipated that through the effort the Picnic Fund will be appreciably augmented, thanks to the organising- ability of the convener (Mrs. W. Gard). The following assisted with the various stalls:— Jumble, Miss Walsh; Fancy, Mrs. Cleaver; Produce, Mesdames Ritzma, Evans and Smith; Books, Mrs. Perry; Soft Drinks, Mrs. Harlen; Sweets, Mrs, Callingham; Hoopla, Messrs. Toy and Laughlin; Darts, Mr. Trainor; Nail Driving, Mr. Baskett. Mr. Jefcoate also assisted the committee in various ways.
