POPPY DAY COLLECTIONS

Poppy day was held in the Upper Hutt last Friday, and the Secretary and Lady Helpers are to be congratulated on their wonderful effort. The schools of the district also helped by selling- the emblems, and the Executive thanks all the Headmasters and Headmistresses of the various schools who participated. Following are the ladies who assisted the Secretary:— Mesdames C. R. Stroud, S. F. Kelly, B. Steele and R. H. Ashford.
