MAIDSTONE PARK.

Maidstone Park has been in great demand during the past week-end, no less than six different picnics from the city being held there, the largest being the annual railway picnic, -which was held on Sunday. Special trains brought the trippers right to the Park siding and the custodian (Mr. Dalton) and his staff ■were on hand to assist in any -way possible. The Park is an ideal spot for picnics and -when the proposed swimming pool is added to its attractions a considerable increase in revenue may be looked for as no doubt it will be in demand all the season.
