UPPER HUTT DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB.

On Saturday the Upper Hutt Club fired a service shoot under N.R.A. conditions. The shoot was carried out on the Sommerville range in ideal weather conditions, -which greatly assisted the marksmen in maintaining a high standard of scoring. The practices are as follows:—A, deliberate; B, snapshooting; C, rapid; D, snapshooting (10 rounds), all at 300 yards. Possible: A, 25; B, 25; C, 50; D, 50— equals 150.
