MEMORIAL CHURCH SERVICE.

A large congregation assembled at St. David's Presbyterian Church on Sunday evening-, when the preacher was the Rev. G. W. Hunt. The speaker referred to instances in the life of our late beloved King-, George V., and paid eloquent tribute to his Christian character so much in evidence in his private life and in his public utterances. The choii- sang- Handel's "Largo," and the hymns included the late Monarch's favourite hymn, "Abide "With Me." The visiting organist, Mr. J. T. McCaw, played Handel's "Funeral March," and the sex-vice concluded with the first verse of the National Anthem.
