Prices showed a drop of Is to Is (id per head on last week's rates. Pigs.—There was a medium yarding of fats and a small yarding uf stores Competition was keen and fav pigs shuwed a slight advance on last week's rates. Store pigs also met with keen competition. Rabbitskins.—We held our fortnightly sale yesterday and oll'ered a good catalogue to a full uttendmce of buyers. Competition was very keen throughout and good skins snowed a substantial rise on last week's rates, Inferior and medium skins were also firm at quotations. Small to 12id. light racks to 24d. racks to 2!) d. autumn and incoming OSd to 73d, early winters to 7iid, winter bucks and does to 80UI, prime winter bucks 93d to l()-ld, -prime winter does to 133 d, winter bucks SOd to S7d.winter does !)Sd to 114 d. fawns to (isld, winter black to 15(ld, autumn black old to Ood per lb. Catskins 4(1 to 12d each. Horsehanr to Kid. Sheepskins.—The Government will hold a valuation next week. Oats—There is very little to report of late as there are 110 oats arriving owing to the railway restrictions, and merchants are not prepared to give prices asked by fanners. There has been a fair enquiry of late, however, for good lines suitable for seed. Prime milling 4s 3d to 4s 4d, good to best feed is to 4s lid, medium to good 3s 9d to 4s, Wheat.—There has been very little offering of late and millers take any good lines at Government rates. Fowl wheat meets with a fair demand at full market rates. , Potatoes—There is still a good enquiry for freshly picked lines, which meet with a ready sale at quotations. Prime tables £lO to £lO 10s, medium-to good £9 to £9 15s per ton. Chaff —Consignments of late have been coming to hand freely, and as feeders are still holding good stocks the demand is confined practically to prime quality chaff, medium being dull of sale at quotations. Prime oaten sheaf £7 to £7 ss, medium to good £5 10s to £6 10s, light and inferior £4 to £5 10s (sacks extra).
