A Collapsed Bridge
NAPIER, .'July 17. At the inquest c.n the...'body of Ernest Turpin, who was killed on May 10 through a traction engine crashing through a bridge near Havelock, tho coroner returned a verdict, of accidental death, adding a rider that it should bo made unlawful for any local -body to build a heavy traffic bridge without first submitting the plans and specifications to the Public Works Department. Such a bridge must (be passed by a>n engineer.
