A MESSAGE FROM THE KING. London, January 20. The New Zealanders in London entertained the New Zealand footballers at a farewell soiree in the Holborn Town Hall. Lord Kinnaird read a letter from Baron Knollys expressing the King's hope that the team had enjoyed the visit, and wishing the men a safe and pleasant voyage. Hundreds fare welled the team at Waterloo Station, including the Hon. W. P. Reeves, Mr Rowland Hill (president of the English Rugby Union), the secretary of the Union, and leading footballers.
