The directors ot the Toapeka Dredging Co. on Monday sight declared a dividend of 1b per Bhare, payable forthwith. Oar Wetheretones correspondent writes : — "The manager of^ the Local Industry washed dowr/a few faotSs last Saturday lota return of 15oz. He expects to finish the paddock about the middle of tbe week. The Bottom ii very bard to clean, there not being a square yard of it level and, in ooneeqaenoe, it wantß both patience and time to thoroughly clean it.— The Golden. Crescent's eleebrie light barns very steadily, there, being not a flicker in it. Nearly doable the quantity of dirt can be pot through now in comparison to the work done with the kerosene JUWIt"
