In the meantime lam makicg inquiries about the buildings adjoining the Commercial Hotel, to which he referred in a former letter. I am not going to do anything in a hnrry, as I intend to mature my plans before laying them before the public ; but perhaps I may say this much, that I am also inquiring as to the possibility of getting bread delivered in Lawrence by the morning train from Dunedin, and but I will stop here as I do not want to occupy too much of your space at one time. Indeed, I have to thank you for the kindly consideration already granted in connection with the subject. I—l1 — I am, etc.,
