OTAGO LAND BOARD.
At Wednesday's meeting of tbe Otago Land Board the following business of local interest was transacted :
Frederick Butler applied for an occupation lease of SO aores in block 7, Teviot district. — Granted, subject to survey. On consideration of the objection by B. M'Ara to sections 19, 20, and 21, block 16, town of Havelock, being sold the Warden stated that it was undesirable that the said sections should be Bold. It was resolved to rescind resolution of July 31 so. far as it applied to sections 19, 22 ;< section 18 only to be offered for sale as decided previously. Banger Hnghan reported on the application by Sans Peter Friis for an occupation lease under the Mining Districts Land Occupation Acb over section 42, block 5, Tuapeka East district ; also on an application by John Blair for a similar lease under the same Act over 11 acres of the said section. — Consideration deferred.
An application for occupation lease under the Mining Districts Land Occupation Act by Wm. S. C raig for 25 acreß, part of section 1, block s,Teviot, Teviot distriot^was approved.
