Prime milling 2s 54 j bright short 2s 4d ; mediam and inferior Is 8d to 2s 3d. Barley— Feed sorts Is 3d to Is 6d, milling la 6d to Is 9d, malting 2a 9d to 3s, extra to 3s 6d. Chaff— We quote prime £3 10s, medium £2 to £3 per ton. Ryegrass— There is a fair demand, and prices show an improvement. We quote — Farmer-dressed, none offering; maohinedreased 2a 3d to 3s per bushel. Cocksfoot, 2}d to 3d for farmers' lots, and3_dto 4&d for machined, linseed £10 to £11 — wanted,pressed straw £1 5s, clover hay £3 ss. Potatoes— £s per ton. Ribbitakins— We offered a fait oatalojme tniß week, when competition wai good. We quote— Soakers and runners 3d to 4Ad, aamraers 6d to 8&d, autumns 9Jd to ll£d, winters 14d to 16Jd, selected to 17d — sale every Monday, Sheepskins— We qaote— Pelts 6d to Is lOd orossbreds 2s to 3s 6 J— sale every Tuesday. Hides 3_d to 4fd, according to weight and condition. We bave a special inquiry and can guarantee the very top market prices. Tallow— Rough fat 12s 6d, rendered 15a to 17s. Horsehair Is Id to Is 2d. Note— Country sales conducted on the moat reasonable terms. Crown Sheep Dtp, the best .in the market, 4s 6d per gallon. We supply rabbit and sheep netting and quote specially by the mile. Agents for Newten'a patent woolpress, £13— can be inspected in our stores. Clover, rape, and turnip seeds all freshly landed, prices on application. Farmers' 4001 b Fairbanks Scales, £5 10a. Gibson's Cattle Brand — We qaote 9$ for small and 15s for large tins. Berger's red and black sheep-branding oil, 4s per gallon. We have erected m Crasher and Kibbler and are now prepared to crash grain and Unseed and kibble peas and beans. Poultry— Wanted . immediately 500 p-ir hens at 2s 9d, and 100 pairs docks at 3s 6d. Free of railage. Consign Department of Agriculture, Danedin, marking crates " Poultry for Export." FRUIT AND PRODUCE RSPORT. Batter, salt — First grade 9d, second grade Bd, third grade 7d, for milled and dairy batter. Cheese— Good factory 5d to s£d, Akaroa 4f d tosd. Onions 17s per cwt. Pigs— For sizes up to 1601 b 3|d, over that 2£d to 3d— market firmer. Beeswax Is 3d to Is 4d. Honey 4d. Bacon 5Jd to 6d, good demand, middles 7d, bams 7_d toßd.
