The Distinguished Service medal has been conferred upon Private Sweeney, of the Fifth Queensland Bushmen. Eighty Boer prisoners were oaptured at Rustenburg. Further surrenders are reported In the Yaal River and Losberg districts. Brigadler*general Plainer and Majorgeneral Sir Charles Knox are pushing the enemy In the Orange River Colony. All the Transvaal columns are refitting. Lord Kitchener's weekly report ataUs that 47 Boers were killed, 7 wounded, 371 taken prisoners, and 134 surrendered} while 236 rifles, 23,750 rounds of ammunition, 164 waggons, 3,400 horses, and 5,750 cattle were captured.
