Messrs Stronach Bros, and Morris report for week ending 3rd July as follows : — Fat Cattle.— 2l2 head yarded. The demand was rather dull and prices were slightly easier. Best bullocks £8 10s to £9 15?, extra heavy up to £11 123 6d, tnediam to good £7 to £8 53, best cows and heifers £6 to £7, extra £8 10s, medium £5 to £5 15s. Sheep. — 3,045 penned. Bidding was rather dull and prices were about 6i to Is lower. Beet wethers 16s 61 to 189, medium to good 14s 6d to 163 6d, best ewes 12 3 to 13a 6d, medium 10s to 11s 9d. Lambs. — 203 penned, prices ruling slightly easier. Best lambs 11s to 123 3d, others 9s 9d to 10s 9d. Pig3.— 2l2 forward, all except porkers and baconers being very dull of sale. Suckers 3s to 9s, slips 11s 6d to 153, stores 16j to 20s, porkers 23s to 323, baooners 353 to 493, heavy pigs up to 655. Rabbitskina. — All offering meet with a very good demand at the following range of values : Winter greys 16d to 17d, early do 14 id to 15jd, autumns 12d to 13d, summers 8d to 9}d, blacks up to 21* d per lb. Sheepskins.— Market unchanged. Hides.— ln good demand. Prime heavy ox 4£d to 4|d, medium to good, 3Jd to 4Jd, light 3d to 3£d, cow hides 3d to 4|d per lb. Tallow.— Market steady. Oats. — There has baen a good demand during the week and prices have again advanced since last report.
