Cumming,' *R. Coskery, and R. Wood. Mr Finlayson for applicant, and Mr "Crooke for objectors, who agreed to withdraw their objections, conditionally on applicant erecting and maintaining sheep crossings and not damming the water back. — The application was granted subject to these terms.

A. Anderson and another (Mr Dalziell): Extended claim of two acres, situated on the west bank of the Molyneux below the Beaumont bridge. — Granted.

OCCUPATION LICENSES.

James M'Corkindale : Occupation license of 12 acres at Beaumont. Objected to by R. Wood. — After hearing evidence, his Worship intimated that he would not recommend the Land Board to grant the application.

Wm. Clark : Occupation license of 12 acres at Beaumont. Objected to by Mrs R. Wood. Mr Thompson for applicant; Mr Finlayson for objector. The portion of land included in Mrs Wood's occupation lease was excluded and his Worship saidhe would recommend the Land Board to grant a license for the balance of the ground.

D. Martin : Occupation license of 20 acres at Beaumont. His Worship said he would recommend the application to the Land Board, as well as that of Mary Moore for 20 acres, same district.
