OUR BUSINESS PLACES. (To the Editor.) Sib, — I think there is an evil in connection with the above in our midst that might very well be remedied. I refer to the late hour at which they close. Surely in a small place like this all our tradespeople could afford to put up their shutters at six o'clock p.m., and let their employes go home. If all would agree to close at that hour, as is done elsewhere, and faithfully carry out the agreement, I am sure it would he beneficial in more ways than one.— l am, etc, X.Y.Z.
