BROWNS.
The annual licensing meeting for the Browns licensing district was heid in the schoolhouse, Evans Flat, on Wednesday last, at noon. Present: Messrs J. Buchanan (Chairman), G. Brooks, and T. Pahey. D. M'Donald's application for a renewal of his publican's license for the Tuapeka Hotel was granted. J. Bulfin's application for a renewal of his license for his accommodation house, Tuapeka West, was granted; fee £5. Both licenses were granted for ten o'clock only.
