TUAPEKA RIFLES.
The fiual competition for a field-glass and other prizes offered by the Tuapeka Bifles took place on Thursday last. The following ai'e the highest scorers: —
♦Hange Prizes. The filial result of the competition is as follows. There were seven competitions, each competitor being allowed to count his five highest scores : — Vol. Jeffery, total number of points 209, including handicap 53 points, Ist prize (field-glass); Vol. Martin (handicap 8 points), 203, 2ud prize, 20s; Vol. Phillipps (scratch), 196, 3rd prize, 12s 6d; Captain M'Keich (scratch), 191, 4th prize, 7s 6d ; Bugler M'Keich (44 points), 186, sth prize, 7s 6d ; Lieut. Brooks (scratch), 178, 6th prizo, 7s 6d ; Corp. Winn (54 points), 172, 7fch prize, 7s 6d.
