The teacher of an infant ciasa in a country town, who was very popular with the little ones, was about to be married and move to another place. She de3ired ve*y much to have a photograph of the class taken as a group. The day arrived, and one of the little boys, in being dressed preparatory to shß sitting, waa told by his mother that he most sit very quietly, for if he moved in the least he would have two heads in the picture. When he reached home after the sitting his mother asked him if he sat still. "Of tourse I did ; don't 00 soe I ain't dot two heads." Elvira : " Miss Bash is perfectly splendid in water-colors." Jbanette : " Why ! Does she paint ?" Elvira : "Oh, no ; she wears a marine-blue dress, lake red bagquo, rainbow ribbons, eeafoam lace, and suneet-on-the-sea parasol." Jeanette : "Yes ; and her age is up in tho aqua-fortis."
