LONDON, July 6. The Miners' Federation at York propose to nominate twenty candidates for seats in the House of Commons at the next General Election. ■' Four thousand additional builders have struck for eight hours. Meetings of miners have been held in Durham and at Herton demanding eight hours. The laborers employed in the corn trade at Dublin have struck, and the men employed on the Grand Canal have followed their example out of sympathy. The 'Morning Post' says that the labor element in New South Wales is avenging the failure of the strike. It urges a coalition, and applauds the proposed national action of parties in Victoria. PARIS, July 8. lhe employes on the Orleans Railway line have struck for a reduction of faoura.
