RABBITSKIN MARKET.
Messrs Remshabdt, M'Donald, and Co., Bond-street, Dunedin, report as follows : —
At the rabbitskin auctions held in London on the 21st instant best descriptions of New Zealaad were in very short supply, and advanced 2d to 3d per 1b ; while the commoner sorts, which comprised the bulk of the offerings, sold readily at from Id to 2d above last sales. Next sales are fixed for the Ist July. Locally, only a moderate business has been done during the week, and prices are firm. The quantity coming forward consists for the most part of summers and mixed, with a few lot 9of lately caught, which are worth 14d to 15d.
