WOOL SALE.
Messrs Wright, St»phenson and Co. report as follows : — We held our third sale for this season at our stores on Thursday. The attendance of foreign and local buyers was firstclobs, and there was fair competition for very lighji merino (for export to America) and for fine crotsbreds, if clean and light in the grease. For these descriptions of wool, prices are fully equal to those current at the earlier sales, aud in a few instances they were a shade higher. Ou the other hand, the demaud for medium quality and inferior merinos was very sluggish, and the prices generally below those obtained at the last sale. Com* mon and low quality crossbreds brought about same values at at former sales.
