LAND BOARD.
The ordinary meeting of the Land Board was hold in Dunedin on Wednesday, and attended by Messrs J. P. Maitland (Chief Commissioner), J. Green, J. Daijcan, and H. Clark. 1 ;W, AITAHUNA WB£T. John Girvan applied to purchase, under the deferred-payment system, section 6, block xi, Waitahuna West. — The application was approved. < David Finlayson requested that section 18, ibloclc xi, Waitahuna West, lately licensed t° Eadie, be opened under the perpletual leasing ;sys£em.i7-To be reoffered on deferred-payments. ; BENGER. RJ Richardson and others asked that sections 1, 2, 3,_ 9, and 14, block xn, Benger, be exchanged from' the deferred* .payment system to the agricultural leasing. — Government to be recommended accordingly. The Ohief Surveyor forwarded plan of surveyed'land, in block xv, Benger. It had been divided into four- sections of the following areas :— -507a 3c ; 484 a2r 14p ; JtJ* 2r 15p ; 563 a3r 14p.—Recomanenjled to be opened, for perpetual
