Lallemand and Ricord, in France, and Acton, in England, were for years cried down by their medical brethren, Now and for many years past they have been looked up to and quoted by every man who pretends to have any knowledge of the particular branch of the profession which I hese gentlemen specially devoted themselves to. It was the same with Erasmus Wilson, the "Skin Doctor," recently knighted by Her Majesty. Years since, it was the same with Dr L. L. Smith, of Melbourne, who practised (as did Lallemand and Ricord) as a Specialist. In all cases of diseases and Labils which produce symptoms of Nervous Affections, of Skin Eruptions, of Prostration, and make human beings invirile, or which unfit them to carry on the purposes of their being, or which demonstrates itself, on the other hand, in EruptiA'e Diseases and Secondary forms of Affections.
