U Grand Drawings, as they are carried out on. the same'principje.as in 'Hamburgh and other Continental Cities. The First Drawing for £2000, and the Second Drawing for £3000, filled before the advertised time for drawing. 'Xhe 4 Company were induced to. make this Tmixl Drawing for £3000,^ consequence of the "great success', and also the confidence gained from the public since opening these Hamburgh Drawings. This Third Grand Drawing will take place not later than the end of June, and the Fourth Drawing will open on the Ist July. Late applications are now registered for the Third Drawing. Over 550 applications for programmes are now registered for the Third Drawing. This Third Grand Drawing will consist of 240 Money Prizes, amounting to £3000, subscribed by 6000 members at 10s each. The various Money Prizes will be distributed as follows : — 1 £300 Prize 5 £30 Prizes 10 £15 Prizes 1 £150 Prize 10 £25 Prizes 120 £10 Prizes 1 £100 Prize 10 £20 Prizes 80 £5 Prizes 2 £50 Prizes Total amount, £3000. 240 Money Prizes. The grand principle of these Hamburgh Drawings is that a purchaser of 25 Programmes is guaranteed a Prize, as it is so drawn that a prize must come out to every 25 numbers, and the chances are in favor of the investor drawing a large prize, as there are 160 large prizes against 80 small ones. To any investor of £2, the chances are only 6 to 1 against his drawing a prize, and the Head Prize or nny other may be drawn by any investor of 10s. The Company would not presume to tell the public that they have a number of chances and can win a number of prizes for a single investment of 10s. The large bulk of the Money in this Grand Drawing is not given away in one big prize, as it is in the Horse Consultations, but you will observe iv this Hamburgh Drawing that the £3000 is fairly proportioned into 240 Prizes, giving every shareholder an equal chance of getting a good prize. This Hamburgh Drawing is oue of the most novel, and will be conducted on the fairest principle possible, so as to give entire public satisfaction. This Third Drawing for £3000 will take place under the supervision of a committee of eight gentlemen, and the prizes will be paid over as early as possible after the drawing.
