This Company is being formed for the purpose of allowing working men an opportunity of acquiring a First-class Farm, with lix roomed House thereon, for the snail sum of One Guinea. The farm is situated in the Heriot Hundred, being Section 12, Block XII., containing 200 acres of first-class agricultural land. Sixty acres being under wheat ; one hundred acres under mixed crop ; the remainder it laid down in clover and grass. The orchard comprises about an acre of fruit trees. Tho Farm has a frontage to the main road, and contains a valuable bed of lignite. The Heriot Burn (ensuring a plentiful aupply of water), and the proposed railway from Kelso to the Heriot Burn, runs right through the property. There is a Schoolhouse and Bl'ackimtth's Shop within a few hundred yards of the homestead t and to a man with (or without) a family, the farm would be a comfortable independence, in a district where property is ; steadily increasing in value.
