Messrs James Hill and William Shepherd applied for license to occupy 50 acres north-west of and adjoining section 5, block VI., Waikaia district, for sawmill purposes, under section 86 ; also to be allowed to exchange 20 acres now occupied by them for equal area northwest of section 5. — The Board resolved — "License to issue for three years, at 7s per acre per annum, or for one year at 21s, if not on Education Reserve."
