RESIGNATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS.
The following resignations were accepted — Alex. Ayson, head t acher, Waihola Gorge ; Mrs Ayson, sewing teacher, Waihola Gorjje ; Thos. Mackay, head teacher, Te Houka ; Henry Henderson, do, Southbridge : E. B. Brophy, schoolmistress, Roxburgh. The f ullowing, amongst other, appointments were sanctioned': — Wm, Johnston, head master, Bendigo, new appointment ; E. B. Brophy, schoolmistress, Sawyers Bay, vice Miss Gillies, promoted ; Leonard Line, pupil teacher, Waitahuna ; Jane White, pupil teacher, Blue Spur ; Jane Malcolm, Robt. Todd, and Arthur Palmer, pupil teachers, Milton.
