[From tlie "Daily Times.") At the ordinary meeting of the Waste Lands Board on Wednesday, there were present : The Chief Commissioner, and Commissioners Thomson, Green, and Clark. WAIKAKi. POOR DEFERRED PAPMENX LAND. Mr A. C. Begg appled that the proclamation setting aparj section 7, block XV., Waipahee, as lef erred payment land, be amended, am that the land be submitted to auction it having been thrice taken up under /he former system, and always abandoned from the poorness of the soil. After consideration upon the application, it was agreed to request the Ranger to furnish a list as fa? as possible of any deferred payment setions in different districts which he would recommend should be offered for lale by auction, with the view of having tto original proclamations revoked.
