CRICKET MATCH.

Albions v. Lawrence. {By our Special Reporter,) . Dunevw, Bth March. The return match between the Albion and Lawrence clubs was played on the oval to-day. Tha Albion, who went in first, were disposed of for 26; the Lawrence eleven only put together five more, Johnston contributing 13. After lunch, the Albions again appeared at the wickets, and totalled 77 before being disposed of. The visitors entered on their second innings at five o'clock, and were all out within an hour, the innings dosing for 34 runs, leaving the local player? victors by 39 runs. Hutchinson, W., dismissed Maddock, Moore, and Harrop with three successive balls, thus securing the customary new hat. Duckmanton was also successful getting three wickets in one over. In summarising the match, it might be i mentioned that Downes committed an error of judgment in not changing tjje bowling in the Albion's second inuings, The Lawrenpe batsmen, too, played nervously, indeed. Your 'reporter never re» collects seeing Downes, Johnston, or Barkman play so tamely. Sraailes, who put two balls over the fence, is a very hard hitter, and with moderate coaching, should make a valuable acquisition to Lawrence Club. Messrs Barras and Jones umpired, Mr Cohen taking the ecores.
