In dairy produce bu+.ter commands Is Id, with an upward tendency. Hams, bacon, and cheese are unchanged. Tv Jmuary last the Union Bank of Australia paid a dividend of 16 per cent., which now makes the total sum received by shareholders in this manner, during thirty-seven years, no less an amount than L 5,200,000. The latest quotation of the bank's shares in London was L 57. The official returns show that' the Union, with its twenty-one offices, does the second largest business in the Colony.
