Sir, — I am informed that a letter signed " Hannibal," which appeared in a recent issue of your paper, is attributed to me. I trust you will do me the justice to endorse my denial of having anything to do with the authorship of that letter, or of having cither seen or heard of it until I observed it in your columns. — I am, &c, C.
