Edgeware Club’s Annual Meeting. The annual meeting; of the combinul sections of the .Edgewure Bowling, Croquet and Tennis Club (Incorporated), was held on Thursday. In the unavoidable absence of th*president, Mr A. chidgey, the chair was occupied by Mr J. E. Gaglinrdf. The secretary-treasurer furnished full report covering the activities of the respective sections, each of which experienced a most successful season. Mr J. W. Beanland congratulated the tennis section on the excellent financial result achieved. The following members who had been nominated by the sections were duly elected for the se-ason 1933-36: president. Mr J. E. Gagliardl; vice-president, Mr J. R. Crocker; secretary-treasurer, Mv R. V. Logic; auditors. Messrs P. C Burns and D. M. Mcßae; delegates to central executives—Bowling. • Messrs Kennedy and Logie: croquet, Mr .T. W. Beanland; tennis, Messrs A. C. Wilson, C. K. Williams and R. J. Robertson. X,inwood Bowling* and Croquet Club. The annual meeting of the Linwoocl Bowling ami Croquet Club was held d»l Wednesday. The president, Mr I>. Dickson, presided over a large attendance. The balance-sheet shftwed the' balance pf assets over li-ablllttes to be £562 11s 9d. with a cash balance of £53 5s ltd in tho working account and £2B Is lOd in the Mortgage Redemption Account. The annual report stated that there had been a marked increase of members in all sections of the club. Mr F. J. Good, a member, was congratulated on being chosen as president of tho New Zealand Bowling Council. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: President. Mr J. Allen; vice-president, Mr .1. Petrie: secretary, Mr E. C. Brown; assistant-secretary. Mr-G. Bridget; treasurer, Mr A. G. Bennett: sole selector,, Mr .1. Petrie; centre delegate, Mr F. J. Good; auditors, Messrs F. J. Good and W. Bridgman: press reporter, Mr E- Pegg; committee, Messrs E. Pegg. J. Crombie, J. Hurley, H. Murison. R. Maclachlan; green committee. Messrs H. Murison. .T. Hurley and H. Burson; match committee, Messrs Rodger, Smith and Snedden. Ladies’ section—President, Mrs Robb; vice-president, Mrs Hurlev; secretary-treasurer. Mrs Williams; committee, Mesdamcs Wass, Mclntosh and Cusack. Croquet section— Captain, Mrs .Tustin: secretary, Mrs Burgess; committee, Mesdames Wilson, Hampson and Marshall. Messrs* T. Marriott, IT. J. Otley and C. A. Marquis were elected life members.
