AIR TAXI LICENSES.
Granted to Dominion Companies. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. June 28. Air taxi services have been granted to New Zealand Airways, Ltd., and the Waikato Aviation Company, Ltd. (Mr S. J. Blackmore) by the Transport Coordination Board. Both licenses rre for five years from October 31 last, and the services are to be conducted with the machines at present used by the applicants. Mr Blackmcre’s machine “ may be used under this license only for the carriage of passengers and goods on journeys to any part of the North Island, commencing from or terminating at the aerodrome at Hamilton.” The New Zealand Airways machines “may be used only for the carriage of passengers and goods on journeys to any part of the South Island, commencing from or terminating at the aerodromes at Timaru or Dunedin.”
