The Air Ministry reveals that Britain possesses the first entirely robot aeroplanes in the world. The Air Force has a flight of secretly equipped. wirelessly controlled de Havillands, resembling Moths. These machines, without pilots, take off and attain 100 miles an hour, rise to 10.000 feet, perform difficult manoeuvres, and land safely within ten miles’ radius of the operator. They can be catapulted from ships and brought down on water. At present they are being used as targets.
