TWO KILLED.
Manager and Secretary of Coal Company. CAR FOUND IN RIVER. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, This Day. A tragic motor accident occurred last evening involving the deaths of Mr Thomas A. Nicholson and Mr Allan Timpanv, manager and secretary of the Linton Coal Company. They had visited the mine at Ohai and left Otautau for Invercargill at eight o’clock in drizzling rain. About four o’clock in the morning three men who were proceeding to Nightcaps saw a car in the Aparima River. It had crashed through the Fairfax bridge. Both bodies were found in the car. Mr Nicholson and Mr Timpany, who were married, were prominent in sporting circles.
